OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. was founded in 1979 by Nikolaos Lakasas and Panagiotis Arvanitidis. The company is active in the development of innovative electronic security systems using state of the art technology. OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. is the largest purely Greek production unit of electronic security systems in Greece and one of the ten largest in Europe. It is housed in proprietary state-of-the-art facilities in Methoni Pieria (next to the Old National Road) and maintains a sales branch in Athens with a total of 185 employees.

At the end of 2018 OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. has launched its new investment, which covers 2.500 square meters of building facilities and new engineering equipment next to the existing building. In the context of this new investment, OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. has reached an agreement with the world-leading company, FUJI. With this collaboration, OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. aims to equip its new building with state-of-the-art and reliable mechanical equipment (SMD machines), which will make a significant contribution to the production of its innovative and quality products.

The cooperation agreement between OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. and FUJI took place in February at the premises of FUJI Germany at a meeting held by Mr. Panagiotis Arvanitidis - Owner of the company, Mr. Dionisis Lakasas - Director of R & D and Mr. Dimos Dorokidis with executives of FUJI. OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. aiming mainly at quality has in recent years implemented sophisticated quality systems in production and has state-of-the-art machinery that gives it a competitive advantage.
